Order registration, specimen records, and barcode labels now run in one connected operating environment.
Label printing now works consistently across more of the lab's device environment.
Documentation and evidence are managed alongside daily lab records, supporting ongoing CAP/CLIA preparation.
Informuta was building more controlled lab operations while getting ready for CAP/CLIA. Barcode labels needed to print reliably across the team's devices, and order registration, specimen tracking, and downstream work all needed to stay connected. Beyond the daily workflows, Informuta was also using Scispot for CAP prep, checklists, binders, documentation, and supporting evidence.
Scispot helped extend label printing across Informuta's device environment, so lab users got a more consistent barcode workflow no matter what device they were on. The team also consolidated specimen types into one Labsheet, connecting order registration, sample receipt, and processing into a single record. On top of routine lab work, Scispot became the home for CAP preparation, checklist management, binders, documentation, and supporting evidence.
The result: order registration, specimen records, and barcode labels now live in one operating environment. Lab users have a more consistent experience across devices, and documentation and evidence sit alongside day-to-day lab records instead of scattered elsewhere.
"Scispot stayed close to the technical details and extended label printing across our device environment. That made the clinical workflow easier for the team to use and showed that the delivery team would stay with the practical issues that matter in day-to-day operations."
